With most people regarding 2025 free bureau class as disappointing, this was a bad year to have a lot of CAP space.
The “winners” of free agency often stop being the losers in the long term, and this may prove especially true for those who have sprayed in recent days.
But when the dust sits on the first wave of free agency, there are several teams whose strategy is worth criticizing.
New Orleans Saints
There is not a huge issue with the contracts that the holy handed out, but they are simply losers because they refuse to accept their reality and rebuild.
After signing Chase Young (three years, $ 51 million) and the tight end Juwan Johnson (three years, $ 30.75 million) and to get the security Justin Reid (three years, $ 31.5 million), the Saints are estimated to have the fourth lowest amount in the league in the league in 2026.
The Saints have limited their future flexibility in a confusing effort to try to fight with Derek Carr at Quarterback. Their reluctance to the recovery button continues to defy the logic.
Buffalo bills

The bills were rewarded to make the decision to let several popular veterans go last season, when they went deep into the season again.
But their latest annoying defeat against Kansas City Chiefs has led to some bizarre features, the holder Josh Palmer’s three-year-old, $ 36 million among them.
Joey Bosa gives the bills they need in the defensive end, but paying up to $ 15 million for a player who has missed 23 matches over the past three years is rich.
With two more signings on the front seven – Michael Hoecht and Larry Ogunjobi, the latter suspended for the first six games – Bill’s acquisitions will be poorly aged if they fight defensively in early 2025.
Indianapolis Colts

The Colts made a couple of potentially sharp acquisitions in Cornerback Charvarius Ward and Safety Cameron Bynum, chose to increase the defensive backfield rather than scaling out to keep defensive end dayo odeyingbo and guard comes french fries.
But it is difficult to be optimistic about Indianapolis with the situation at Quarterback, with Daniel Jones signed for an annual agreement to participate in an “open competition” with Anthony Richardson.
On the way to year 3 with Richardson is Colts on a nightmare. Richardson’s Colts career is probably over if he loses his job to Jones and if Jones delivers what he did for most of his time with New York Giants, General Manager Chris Ballard will be deserving to be in a job at the end of 2025.
Dallas cowboys

Dallas’ big conversation so far has been to invest in Dante Fowler’s 11.5 bags last year not another flash in his forehead.
Fowler is a downgrade at defensive ending to Demarcus Lawrence, who went to Seattle, and the underwear signings of failed earlier first rounds of Solomon Thomas and Payton Turner only serve that further doubt about Dalla’s team building outside the draft.
There is a skill to find undervalued assets in free agency, but Cowboys offers indicate that they simply take a dart on names they recognize. It is difficult to know what the strategy is in Dallas, but there is nothing that indicates that one will have the cowboys competing this season.
