San Francisco 49ers released Linebacker Demetrius Flanigan-Fowles on Tuesday after five seasons with the team.
Flannigan-Fowles, 28, was a great contributor to special law who also started three of 12 matches he played in 2024. He had a interception and 17 tackles, with a tackle for loss.
After signing up with the 49th century as an uninhibited free agent and then released before the 2019 season, Flanigan-Fowles later signed to the exercise group. He debuted during the 2020 season as a defensive back and later moved to Linebacker. He amounted to 96 tackles, a bag, six tackles for loss and an interception in 73 games with regular season (seven starts).
Flannigan-Fowles also played in the nine playoffs and amounted to 12 tackles and a forced Fumble.
