The Philadelphia 76ers ahead Paul George has an injury to the extensor -Sen on his left Pinkie finger, the team announced just before Tuesday night’s home game against Los Angeles Lakers.

The extent of the injury was discovered after George underwent an MRI examination and ultrasound. He is previously excluded from the game against Lakers after suffering from the injury during Saturday’s victory 109-97 over Chicago Bulls.

George is scheduled to be evaluated on Wednesday.

“I think it’s day to day. I think we’re glad we know it’s not going to be super long, it’s not big things,” 76er coach Nick Nurse said to reporters. “I think they are working on trying to find out how to get him back as soon as they can.”

Tuesday’s game was the 15th George has missed this season due to various injuries. He is in the first season of a four -year, $ 212 million agreement that he signed as a free agent during the low season.

George, 34, is an average of 17.1 points, 5.6 returns and 4.7 assists in 30 matches.

Star Center Joel Embiid (left knee) is also out against the Lakers and has been excluded from Wednesday’s game against Sacramento Kings.

The absence will expand Embi’s latest stretch of missed games to 13. The former League MVP has played in just 13 matches this season and is on average 24.4 points and 7.9 returns.

The nurse said that Embiid participated in some of Monday’s practice.

“He did some shooting in advance,” said the nurse. “So I think he’s feeling better. Getting better. Trying to get him back out there soon, hopefully.”

The 76th century is a disappointing 17-27 that comes into the match against the Lakers.
