The Philadelphia 76ers Star Center Joel Embiid will play against the visiting Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night after missing 15 matches in the past month due to a foot spray and swelling on the knees.

Embiid has only played 13 games this season. The 30-year-old missed for the season and the first nine gig of regular season-first when he handled the left knee’s tenderness and then because of a three-game suspension to shoot a reporter. He also missed time due to a sinus fracture.

Philadelphia coach Nick Nurse does not set a minute limit for Embiid but said that 30 minutes is realistic, depending on the previous MVP feeling.

Embiid played by January 4, scored 28 points and pulled down 12 returns with six assists in 29 minutes by a 123-94 road victory over Brooklyn Nets. He is on average 24.4 points, 7.9 returns, 3.8 assists and a block in starting 13 matches.

For his career, Embiid is an average of 27.8 points, 11.1 returns, 3.6 assists and 1.6 blocks in starting all 446 of their regular seasonal games since the 2016-17 season.

Philadelphia chose him third in total in the NBA draft 2014, and he missed two seasons due to injury.

The seven times All-Star will be without teammates Paul George (finger) and guard Quentin Grimes, which was acquired on Tuesday. The other player in that trade, forward Caleb Martin, will not play for Dallas when the transaction awaits.

Mavericks will also be without PJ Washington (personal reasons) and all-Star Anthony Davis, who has to do with an abdominal city. Guard Max Christie, who came to Dallas from Los Angeles Lakers in the huge trade Saturday night for Mav’s star Luka Doncic, is available to play for Mavericks.
