It’s probably time for Dallas Maverick’s manager Nico Harrison to just stop talking.

Maverick’s bouncing unauthorized from the NBA-Play-in tournament, and Harrison wasted no time before the noise in this failed season when he met the media on Monday afternoon.

“I knew Luka was important to the fan base,” Harrison said. “I didn’t really know that at what level.”

If that quote is not bad enough when the little little voice in the head reads it, you should actually try to listen to Harrison Babble who quotes. It is somehow even worse.

He continues to explain that he believed a team of Kyrie Irving, PJ Washington, Kyy Thompson, Dereck Lively and Anthony Davis was a championship is a championship.

What?

You traded Luka Doncic, one of the best players of this generation, to the Los Angeles Lakers team that already uses LeBron James, without doubt the greatest player of all time. Forget Mavericks competing for an NBA title – they are not even as good as the team they did the trade in at their own conference.

But what should Harrison say? There is nothing he can do now. Many basketball fans wondered if Maverick’s brass would have received enough the backlash and fired Harrison to make a posture.

It seems unlikely.

Instead, it seems that Mavericks will stand by the guy who did an extremely controversial trade and will continue to make excuses for a move that will never be meaningful. It has already cost them purchases from the fans. Dirk Nowitzki, the most beloved player in the story of Dallas Basketball, is in violation of the organization of Harrison’s cold-blooded shooting of long-term Mavericks staff Casey Smith.

It is ugly right now in Dallas, but there is nothing to regret it.

Since the trade cannot be undone, it would be in Harrison’s best interest to disappear for a while. Shortly after trade occurred, Davis was predictable. Then Maverick’s Kyrie lost Irving to a seasonal injury as well. The basketball gods were not friendly against Dallas after this trade occurred. Take it on your chin and try to regroup for next year. That’s all you can do.

Now that the season is collected the media accessibility is over, everyone in the Mavericks organization should enjoy some free time-long away from microphones or media.

The more Harrison talks, the more he gets viral – and in some way, the worse this trade looks as time goes by.

Mavericks will pull after the Minnesota Timberwolves very hard in the first round of the NBA finals. The last thing they need is that Doncic’s Lakers do a deep drive in the NBA finals.

But this is officially the season of Doom for Mavericks, so that it goes to the NBA championship which feels inevitable.
