Quarterback Joey Aguliar enters the transfer portal, reported several withdrawals on Monday, less than four months after he moved to UCLA from Appalachian State.
Aguils were prepared to be UCLA’s start in the fall and had participated in spring practice as number 1 QB. But the deep diagram changed over the weekend when Quarterback Nico Iamaleava left Tennessee and transferred to UCLA.
Speculation has been centered on aguils that may be moving to Tennessee to take the place in Iamaleava.
A native of northern California played Aguils at the junior college level in Diablo Valley before moving to Appalachian State. During two seasons in Appalachian State, he finished 60.1 percent of his passes at 6,760 meters, 56 touchdowns and 24 listening in 25 games.
With Tennessee 2024, Iamaleava threw 2,616 meters and 19 touchdowns, with the volunteers who went 10-3 and made College Football Playoff.
