A new live dealer-studio has been built on the floor of a world-renowned Las Vegas casino and is currently waiting for regulatory approval to start taking online initiatives from international players.
MGM Live Studio at MGM Grand Hotel casino is the latest developments in the partnership between MGM Resorts International and Playtech PLC. MGM Live Dealer Studio at MGM Grand will only be available to players in selected international markets.
MGM Resorts refused to comment on the Live Dealer studio, with reference to the ongoing approval process for the legislation.
During a performance call in February, MGM Resorts Employees estimated that the Live Dealer studio could be in operation during the first half of 2025.
In addition to traditional Live Dealer’s casino games, the MGM Live Studio at MGM Grand also has a family feature game. Details of how that space will be integrated into either online or personal experiences remain unclear.
The dealers who work in MGM Live Studio are visible to MGM Grand Guests, especially those who eat at the adjoining Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.
Last year, MGM Resorts and Playtech launched a double -cast service where players could place bets both personally and online at Live Roulette and Baccarat table on the most important game floors in Bellagio and MGM Grand. These games are only available for online players in international markets.
A comparable product is available for BETMGM online casino player in New Jersey, where digital players can place bets on live roulette tables located in Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel casino. Betmgm is owned by MGM resorts and Enture PLC. Borgata is run by MGM Resorts.
Live Dealer Casino Games is popular in US markets where online games are allowed, such as New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan. There are three live dealers studios in Atlantic City Casinos, which offer games such as Blackjack, Baccarat and Craps.
