Bally’s Corp., offers public ownership in its Chicago Casino as it seems to collect about $ 195.1 million for the yet completed project.
This is the second such initial public offer (IPO) generated by Bally’s because it relates to the Chicago Casino project of $ 2 billion. The first IPO was denied by the US Securities and Exchange Commission after several moods claiming that the IPO was discriminatory as it gave lectures to applicants in four states that qualified for minority status.
The new IPO prefers Illinois and Chicago residents, according to a Sec archiving.
“We are proud to have aroused a great interest in ownership from women and minority groups,” said Bally’s Corp. Said chair SO Kim in a news message. “To make this investment available to even more Chicagoans that make this city so good that we expand our investment opportunities, with a preference for residents of Chicago and other parts of Illinois. We remain steady for our commitment to the city of Chicago and the development of a thriving society.”
Bally’s was the casino operator in Tropicana Las Vegas, which was imploded last year to make room for an MLB stadium. Bally’s say it also intends to build a new resort on the site. Financing has not been secured for any of the project.
New State includes gaming agreements
Pennsylvania became the sixth state that joined the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (Msiga) and joined Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan, Delaware and West Virginia.
Online -poker players in Keystone State participated in Interstate Pool Play for the first time on Monday, five days after the governor signed an agreement that allows Commonwealth’s entry.
Operators, decision makers and online players pressed to be included in intergovernmental pools for several reasons, including improved competition, larger price pools, industry growth, support for smaller operators and to reduce unregulated games.
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said it was a “general step to support hundreds of thousands of pennsylvanians, grow our economy and get more revenue to support our schools, our seniors, our small businesses and more.”
Betmgm Poker, Pa Borgata Online Poker and WSOP Online were among the first online operators to offer Pennsylvania players a chance to ante up in the multistat pool. The first two combine liquidity from three states.
Caesars Entertainment’s WSOP Online is the first online poker operator to collect liquidity from four jurisdictions – Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

NCAA DATA FEED
NCAA has agreed to provide official data from championship events to sports books that agree not to offer high -risk proposals.
Through a partnership with London-based Genius Sports, sports books can register to get official information as long as they do not offer under performance, negative result games and investments in injuries, officials or fan-voting awards.
Genius became the official supplier of NCAA statistics until 2032 according to a new agreement announced on Friday.
The agreement applies to all sports except the College Football Championship, which NCAA does not monitor.
Sports books can use the data flows on live game options, and the NCAA brands and the logo can be used in sports game apps but not for external marketing.
Oklahoma sports games
Two bills that allow sports wagons in Oklahoma have reached the state’s senate floor.
The Senate Business and Insurance Committee adopted both measures in separate votes. A bill, sponsored by rope. Ken Luttrell, R-Ponca City, provides federally recognized Indian tribes with compacts the exclusive right to offer sports games in the state.
The second bill, sponsored by Löttrell and Senator Bill Coleman, R-Durant, would allow sports games after a voter vote.
Both legislative proposals are facing an upward struggle because the Republican government J. Kevin Stitt opposes them for being prepared without his post.
Macao’s game tax
The $ 2.8 billion (USA) in gaming tax collected in Macao during the first quarter of 2025 represents 88.1 percent of taxes collected in the Chinese enclave.
Gaming tax collection traces 0.2 percent before last year, and something behind the financial year’s budget expectations of $ 11.6 billion throughout the year, according to Macaos Bureau for financial services.
