There is nothing that says what to expect when the circus is called Miami Heat rushes into San Antonio on Saturday night for an Inter-conference collision.

The heat will meet Spurs to open a four-game road trip after a loss of 126-106 at home to Cleveland on Wednesday. Terry Rozier scored 22 points from the bench for Miami, and Tyler Herro fell four 3-points to puncture his 22-point performance, but none of the players could not prevent the heat from losing for the sixth time in their last nine races.

Bam Adebayo added 21 points in the back, where Miami never led and allowed Cavaliers to shoot 54 percent from the floor. The heat also lost the recovery battle 47-35 and was outscored with 30 points in color.

“We are a larger front line, and this must be corrected,” said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra about the heat’s recovery problem. “There are no excuses now. We must be much more physical and determined on the glass. It is so important for us to end possessions. We do collectively that a group must be better at recovering.”

Since Wednesday’s loss, it was revealed that Rozier has been a focus on a federal sports game probe regarding suspected betting on some of his statistics, even if he has not been accused of a crime or inaccuracies. The charges are derived from March 2023, when Rozier was a member of Charlotte Hornets.

On Friday, Rozier told reporters, “to advice from advisers I can’t answer any questions about that matter.”

Rozier is expected the game against Spurs.

It is all part of the whirlwind around the heat, a situation that includes the indefinite suspension of the star forward Jimmy Butler after leaving training on Monday, his continued demand to be traded and Miami’s attempt to find a certain consistency.

Saturday’s game will be the second of a home-back-to-back set for Spurs, which snapped a two-game losing line in impressive style on Friday and directed Milwaukee Bucks 144-118.

Victor Wembanyama collected 30 points and 14 returns to lead Spurs, which led from 14 points on the way into the fourth quarter and pulled away and turned a new trend that has seen them run out on gasoline late in play.

“(Wembanyama) was great and matched the level of intensity and physics and competitiveness that he knew he would get from playing against (Milwauke -star) Giannis (Antetokounmpo),” said Spur actor Mitch Johnson about Friday’s game. “He expected that kind of game, and he got it.”

Keldon Johnson added 24 points for San Antonio, who won for just the second time in the last seven excursions. Stephon Castle hit 20 points and Harrison Barnes 16.

The spurs made a franchise record 24 3-points in the victory and accounted for half of its points.

“Part of that was what they gave us,” Johnson said about 3 points. “Our passing was phenomenal only when it comes to getting the ball to the right person in time and in the right place.”
