Indiana Center Myles Turner is excluded from Pacers’ Thursday road game against Los Angeles Clippers after taking a blow to the face halfway through the first quarter.
Turner was accidentally hit in the mouth by the left hand by teammate Bennedict Mathurin on a game near Kippers basket. He seemed groggy and got help for Pacer’s bench before going to the dressing room.
According to Pacers, Turner was evaluated for a concussion.
Turner, 28, was an average of 15.4 points with 6.7 returns in 45 matches (all starts) this season went in on Thursday. During ten seasons, all with Pacers, he has an average of 14.0 points with 6.8 returns in 615 matches (582 starts) after he was the 11th total selection in the 2015 draft from Texas.
