Hornet’s sign of Moussa Diabate to 3-year agreement

Charlotte Hornets signed forward Moussa Diabate to a regular three -year agreement.

Economic conditions for the deal were not revealed by Hornets in their Sunday message. Diabate had played on a two -way agreement. He would be a limited free agent after the 2025-26 season.

Diabate, 23, is on average career heights in points (4.7), returns (7.0) and minutes (18.7) in 43 matches (six starts) this season, his first in Charlotte.

Diabate was selected in the second round of the 2022 draft of the Los Angeles Clippers, which declined to give him a qualified offer during the summer. Hornets signed him to a two -way agreement on July 31.
