Vanderbilt’s Mikayla Blakes added her record season by scoring 55 points, the most in Women’s Basketball by a beginner, in Commodores ’98 -88 overtime victory against Auburn on Sunday.
The 5-foot-8 guard raised his point average to 23.0 points per match by going 15-for-28 from the floor and 23-for-24 from the free throw line. She added five returns, five assists and three steals, although she also had six sales.
