Spoiler Alert! Eastenders said goodbye to James Bye When Martin Fowler tragically died in Queen Vic after his character was crushed while trying to save loved ex-wife and true love, Stacey Slater.
In completely heart -cutting scenes, the couple finally acknowledged their true love for each other after months of suppression of their feelings, and they made the decision to give their relationship a chance. But their joy was short -lived because the paramedics informed them that Martin could not be saved, and he later passed away from his wounds in Stacey’s arms.
James Bye talked about his dramatic outcome: “Say goodbye is not easy, but after ten years on Eastenders and at night by the show’s epic 40th anniversary – the time felt right. It is an honor to leave a story about this size. A big thank you to all the fans of the show – Eastenders would not be what it is without you – and to the BBC and the Eastenders team for trusting me with this role for so many years. This fruit and vegetable man will always have a special place in my heart. It’s time to look forward to, and I’m extremely excited for what the future has. RIP Martin Fowler. “

James’ performance in tonight’s live episode was nothing more than outstanding and one that I know will touch so many of you who look at home because of his lovely portrayal of Martin Fowler, which has made him a solid favorite among the viewers. As we discussed James’ outcome, we knew we needed to give Martin Fowler the great explosive story his character deserved. “

Martin Fowler first arrived in Walford on July 30, 1985, making him the first child born in Eastenders to parents, Pauline and Arthur.
Played by James Bye since 2014, Martin has been at the heart of some of Eastender’s biggest stories, and his death will surely have devastating repercussions over Albert Square as those who knew him are struggling to rectify his death …
