Every player who is fishing to be the No. 1 choice in the NFL draft should understand how this process works. The production, as in the university’s performance, has already determined the hacking order at the top of the draft.
How can we be so safe?
Titan’s Director General Mike Borgonzi told so much Tuesday at the NFL Scouting Combine. The first time GM said that the Titans, who hold the No. 1 election but are open to offers if a team wants to make it rain top-00 draft of the election, have set their draft board and only “small changes” are probably between starting point and the finish line at the end of April.
But can small changes be relative? Most medical evaluations have not yet taken place in Indianapolis, and if teams were not open to opportunities in the first round and then, why would they invest time, energy and eyeballs in Campus Pro days and host outlook for the next 50 days ? Here are the best prospects to look at in Indianapolis.
Ol Armand Membou, Missouri
There are law that believe that Membou can play anywhere on the offensive line in the NFL, but a key confirmation comes this week when official measurements take place. He already made a victory on the senior bowl, where his arm’s length was 34 inches. If the same applies in Indianapolis-Yes, there are cases of senior bowl and combine measurements that are not the same-he is a potential top-15 choice. The bottom line: Membou’s arm’s length can determine if some teams decide that he can only play the inner offensive line. Membou is a machine athletically, a powder barrel with Mizzou Weight-Room Records that can set up a dazzling 10-yard split in the 40-yard.
QB Jalen Milroe, Alabama

In the tight, 15-minute window, Milroe has teams in face-to-face interviews on Combine, his first impression is not a problem. Milroe is Jalen Hurts Light when it comes to a team-first, assignment-focused way of thinking, and there are no red flags with his character. There are even fewer concerns about his athletic profile. Where there are some doubts for coaches and GMS is whether Milroe can read defense, implement consistently and anticipate adjustments. Teams are likely to give him a few minutes on the whiteboard to test his processing. If he occurs that test, he stands to be a winner in Indianapolis.
Edge James Pearce, Tennessee

With 17.5 bags combined in the last two seasons, Pearce has been distinguished in Sec also against the blockage of double teams. He is a speedhouse whose game weight was closer to a three-down linebacker prototype in the NFL. To avoid being molded as a tweener, Pearce will be carefully seen in position exercises and for his acceleration and speed results under the field on the field. From there, teams not only have to decide whether he can bend the edge and beat offensive tackles at the next level, but if there is more in his game that is not yet unlocked.
CB Shavon Revel Jr., East Carolina

Medical evaluations will be huge in the final draft of Revel’s team. He is a first round of talent. The questions arise when dissecting the competition level at the ECU and to a greater extent his recovery from a broken ACL. Revel missed most of the season in 2024 with the knee injury he suffered in practice after the third match of the year. In total, his body is not as extensive as other – 21 games, 12 starts – but he was impressive when it was available.
S xavier watts, notre lady

The top of the security class has athletic Freaks Malaki Starks (Georgia) and Nick Emmanwori (South Carolina), and Watts is a bit of a forgotten man. It is even though it was the Bronko Nagurski Award winner in 2023 (the best defensive player in college football) and an All-American 2024. Watts had 13 intercepts in the last two seasons and victories with instincts and rapid reaction time. He will win over defensive coaches in interviews after crossing the senior bowl because of the long season and run to the title in the 12-team playoffs.
