Former Green Bay Packers -Kickker Mason Crosby retires as a member of the team, announced manager Brian Gutekunst on Wednesday.

Packers chose Crosby in the sixth round of the NFL draft in 2007, and he stayed with the team during the season 2022. During that time he became Green Bay franchise leader in career points (1 918), field goals (395), 50-Yard field goals (43) and extra points (733).

Crosby, 40, became a free agent after the 2022 season and played in three matches with the New York Giants 2023. He is currently hosting the Mason Crosby show at 105.7 The Fan Radio in Milwaukee.

He played in 258 games with regular season and 23 during the season for Green Bay. He is also the franchise leader for played games and consecutive games that were played and also appeared in the mail season 12 times with Packers and won the Super Bowl XLV with the team in 2011.

His name is also among those in the Kicker’s history. He and former Detroit Lions-Kickaren Jason Hanson are the only players who show up in at least 250 matches with regular season and get at least 1,900 points with a team. He also got 100-plus points for 15 seasons and only beat Adam Viniatieri (21 seasons) and Jason Elam (16) in that category.
