NHL Over/Under Best Bet: Utah Hockey Club at Chicago Blackhawks, March 7, 2025

Well, finally we are outside Schneid with it over victory last night on the basketball court.

Now we go back to the coolest game on earth with an over/during conversation at the matchup between the Utah Hockey Club and the Chicago Blackhawks.

Interestingly, these two central divisional rivals only participated in a final second less trade before today’s deadline. In exchange for managing a fifth round to Utah, the Blackhawks acquired a couple of young people and retired defender Shea Weber’s contract.

Chicago also made a move earlier in the day and delivered former starting painter Petr Mrazek and Centrum Craig Smith to Detroit for Joe Veleno.

Overall, the rebuilding Blackhawks made some transactions this month, and one of their latest additions will be the front and the center for this total tonight. The new goalkeeper Spencer Knight – who the organization acquired from Florida last week – will be between the pipes when he presses to win the starting job after satisfied himself with other violin behind Sergei Bobrovsky.

Knight just made his Blackhawks debut Monday night against Los Angeles Kings, and he was phenomenal and stopped 41 out of 42 shots to require a 5-1 victory.

The argument could be made that while he was still with Panthers, Knight was considered one of the best security goals in the game and on the verge of breaking out if given a chance to start regularly. His story is one of endurance, after leaving his former law in February 2023 due to a battle with obsessive -compulsive disorder. He also continued to miss last season.

When he returned to the NHL this year, Knight has been fantastic and published a record of 13-8-1 with a 2.34 goal-for average and a .912 Savings percentage. Gaa is ranked him in the top five in the league, and he has also noted a couple of shutdowns.

The previous election in the first round will have a strong opportunity for a encore, as Utah is ranked 22nd among all 32 clubs with 2.82 goals per match.

At the same time, Karel Vejmelka gets a new start for Utah and marks a rare back-to-back for the 28-year-old Netminder. He played last night in the Hockey Club’s victory over Red Wings and closed the door on 38 out of 40 shots.

Vejmelka enjoys the best year in her four-year career and holds a record of 17-16-4 with a 2.44 GAA and a .912 Savings percentage. Above all, this is his first time with a Win-Loss record over .500, and he has been so impressive that Utah only rewarded him with a five-year contract extension after tonight’s game.

Maybe the new contract will give some extra juice to Vejmelka’s performance tonight.

He has the right opponent to celebrate against. Chicago is again associated with a tough campaign, sits a place from the Western Conference Cellar and produces fewer images per match (24.6) than any other team in the league.
