The University’s International Gaming Institute issues a request for proposals to award up to four six -month grants that are not resident of $ 5,000 each to support research initiatives that promote theoretical and practical understanding of responsible gaming practice in sports media.
Successful applicants will be expected to produce a white paper on responsible sports.
The university’s officials said that the prioritized priority areas are advertising and responsible games in sports media channels, communication of developing investment and gaming products, such as competitions and daily fantasy sports 2.0, AI applications in sports booking media, media role in games and esports, influencies and social media advertising in sports games and social media.
Proposal is due on May 11. Successful applicants will be announced by June 1 with projects that started no later than 1 July and completion by December 31.
Applicants may be domestic or international and must be affiliated with a non -profit research or academic institution.

In a survey of Mixbook, a company that produces photo books, cards, calendars and home decor, the southern Nevada Casino city Laughlin was found to be one of the most relaxing destinations for Spring Break.
The company chose 3,021 families to determine the most peaceful, family -friendly holiday spaces and Laughlin placed fifth on a list of 10.

Rejection of sports games
Legislators in two states find tough sled in their bids to legalize sports trollers.
Georgia’s Senate Committee for regulated industries and tools voted Thursday against a Senate Resolution that would change the state’s constitution that would enable sports games in Georgia.
A new survey from the University of Georgia says that 63 percent of voters in the state want legal sports books. The state’s legislative session ends April 4.
