Bubba Watson said he has been compatible with his response when it comes to life golf representation in Majors.

So when Watson was asked about the subject again on the heels at the US Open and the open announcement formal qualification paths for players from the Liv Tour, he was just happy to share his thoughts.

“Yes, I think all the chances we have to get into Majors, get us all to play together again, it’s always good,” Watson said Thursday at Liv Golf Singapore.

“My thoughts have always been that we would just go out of our score list or our money list and have 15 guys from life to be in all majors, the top 15 from the year before.

“That’s what I’ve always said. I’ve said that since day one.”

Watson is a twice Masters Champion (2012, 2014) and knows one thing or two about how to win a major.

And while the roads created by R&A and USGA have helped, Watson feels that an infusion of talent – yes, life talent – would go a long way towards getting eyeballs on the product.

“But this is a start. This is a start in the right direction, which people realize that life is here to stay and that life is not going anywhere, and it just gets better,” he said.

“Majors sees it, and Majors realize for it for a week that they have an event, they need us to participate there and play so that we can get some media attention but also show how good life is and what team sports are about.”

PGA Tour has banned life players from competing in their events since the latter debut, except for Majors. But Life -Golfers do not get official world golting points and thus limit their opportunities.
