The era-defining Olivier-nominated musical follows two writers named Oliver and Nancy who are struggling to write a second musical, Whist who also navigates the ups and downs in their dating life in your dating apps.

But the incredible original London recording has finally been released and can be downloaded on streaming platforms right now! While some of fans favorite demos have been available to stream for some time, this is the first time all songs (as well as some sensational extra) have been released so that fans can relive the magic in the show at home.

The rollist and creative team celebrated the album launch with a glittering party last night (March 13) at Earth Kitchen, Hackney, with a wonderful countdown at the time of publication. Earlier in the evening, leading stars Jo Foster, Leesa Tulley and Noah Thomas the audience treated a four-track performance of some of the songs, followed by a question and answers with the creators Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. When the clock struck midnight, the dance floor was transformed into a huge singalong by the album tracks – the perfect way to celebrate this important occasion!

Whether you have seen the musical or not, the original London recording of the recording of Why am I so single? Escapes perfectly the joy and chaos of dating life by melting a variety of musical genres with smart and witty lyrics. This is not your standard music – in fact it is a pop hybrid with elements of disco, rock/pop punk, rap and jazz. This album switches seamlessly from huge bangers to heartfelt ballads and is designed to make you hug, crawl, cry and confess your love for your bestie.

Opens with Prolog, Leading into title track Why am I so single?, This sets the tone for the recording that Oliver and Nancy (played by JO Foster and Leesa Tulley) try to train why on earth is without a significant other. Lace up with funny games on words and a Six Nod (the other bolyyn girl), the track summarizes problems with modern dating perfectly.

This is followed by the contagious 8 datesWhich went viral on Tiktok and is easily one of the largest earworms on the recording. Well, who describes Oliver’s latest dating appaudons, shares all emotions that come too familiar to anyone who has ever used an app – from hope and excitement, to the complete disappointment and frustration. 8 dates is also the beginning of a run of absolute bops on the recording …

First I got off the plane, that describes the impact that Friend And Ross and Rachel’s “Will de, Won’t they” relationship had on society. This is followed by the exceptional Cu never, Led by Noah Thomas as Artie, when he and Leesas Nancy break down the experience of being hyperfixed on situations and losing the ability to communicate properly. Anyone who was lucky enough to catch the musical at the Garrick Theater would have seen the actor show some nice KRYAN skills, and you can still feel the hard energy on the recording. Noah is fantastic on the track when Artie tries to beat some reason in her friend.

Next is a personal favorite, Meet the market. A funny yet related offer, this track will be quite traumatic for anyone who has ever used a dating app. The song’s intro has some of the most recognizable quotes from the apps, including “Travel Lover”, “I like pineapple on pizza” and men who are about their height. The track takes a turn when Oliver and Nancy rate each other’s profiles before exploring some of the (completely sincerely scary) people who have swept right on them. The song is chaotic and changes pace at every tour, but this summarizes the entire Hinge/Bumble/Tinder experience.

After a number of high pace -songs we slow down things with the tricky Shhh !!!Where Oliver sings about the type of men they attract including those who act as if they do not exist. While Marilyn Monroe-E-ESque jazz vibber is intoxicating and lacing with humor, the track is dotted by grief that the character believes that is what they deserve, when this could not be further from the truth.

This is followed by a huge power ballad called Only for fall, where Nancy explains that she is very hung on her ex (alias THE Ex), and would be ready to release everything if he came and knocked. Leesa’s powerful song is shown perfectly all over the track, with the shot woman who pours her heart and soul into the story behind the song.

The creators Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss are best known for Six And you may feel the impact of the musical through parts of Why am I so single?, Most remarkable Interlude in b -minor reminiscent Haus of Holbein. The song consists of interpolations of the previous tracks, with Oliver and Nancy who struggle with a bee in the apartment. Yes, this sounds bizarre from the context but it was just as puzzling on the West End scene. However, there is no doubt that the song is extremely captivating and one of the most memorable tracks on the recording.

Clubs of lovely clubs see Artie Reminiscce the first time he met Oliver and Nancy, with all who remember events in very Different ways. The Title of the Track is not just a game on Food lovely food from Oliver!, This is where we see Oliver and Nancy’s Friendship Blossom when they discover that they are both superfans of the classic musical.

This is followed by the Ukelele-Condered No question, Which is a mild offer that sets the tone for one of the album’s highlights – Disco Ball. Well, Foster is an absolute sensation on this electric discosing Hymne and you may feel that their energy and emotions become more crazy and desperate as the song progresses. This was a huge prominent moment every night at Garrick, and JO deserves his flowers for this song alone.

The atmosphere is eased a bit on Men r rubbish, When the couple realizes that the reason they are singles is because men are pure debris. The next up is Only in case – repriseAs Smart combines parts of the melodies of If and Discoboll And is the beginning of an emotional part of the show when Oliver and Nancy come face to face with their emotions. Lost is a wonderful ballad singing by Leesa, as she explores Nancy Sorrow to lose her father, while Why do I still repair? sees that the couple validates their love for each other.

When they realize that all they need is each other, the soundtrack ends with euphoria Better at love story. This is a wonderful Ode for the power of Platonic relationships and summarizes the relationship between the whole role. During the process it is very clear that the role has built a magical connection to each other, and while Why am I so single? Have finished for now the role recording is really their absolutely happy ever after.

The album also contains two very special additions. First of all is an extended version of Men r rubbish Containing the iconic Patti Lupone from Broadway Revival Cast of Oliver! (referred to in the show itself). Patti raises the already brilliant track and adds his power plant and humor to the song.

To close the recording, Jordan Cambridge-Taylor and Collette Guitart (the alternative olives and Nancy) get their chance to shine with an alternative version of If. Although you can expect huge song, this really is not If We are used to. Instead, the track has been transformed into an ode into Oliver! Which is extremely smart and allows Jordan and Collette to show off their delicious singing.

Why am I single? Is sure to delight musical and pop music lovers, and we really hope that the publication of the original role recording will mean that it will be further life this show one day. Please sir, can we have some more?!
