The madness may be out in full force today, but that does not mean that all other sports must be neglected – especially from a playing point of view!
Yes, many gaming opportunities are still outside the NCAA basketball tournament. Even on the pitch, where the World Cup qualified matches are played all over the world. (Hopefully you caught my Libya-groom during bet earlier, by the way.)
But we will stick to the pros on the hardwood and on the ice as far as tonight goes. First we have a critical East Company business to be played between the Montreal Canadiens and New York Islanders, which will have enormous consequences in the picture after the season.
As it says, Montreal is in possession of the second and last jok card with a wild card with 73 points. The islanders are one of the teams close to them and carry 70 points, so this is something of a must-win game for the Long Island residents with only valuable time left in the campaign.
To New York’s credit, they have been in there since Jettisoning’s long-term Franchise-Stalwart Brock Nelson earlier this month and comes from impressive back-to-back victories, including one against the second best team in the east, Florida Panthers.
The common denominator in all his games since Nelson was traded is that they have all been low. In fact, all six of these competitions contained final results that increased to no more than six total goals.
Such a tendency can continue with the fact that the islanders recently lost Mathew Barzal and now one of their best offensive defenders, Alexander Romanov, out due to a disease.
Tonight’s high efforts also point to a tightly played meeting, which can be a contributing feature to a miracle. It really also helps that the islands are last as at the conference in goal made, with 2.7 per match.

Canadiens can certainly put the puck in the network and be one of the 13 teams this year that manufacture at least three goals on average. The duo by Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield on the club’s No. 1 line is about as dangerous as everyone. But they are messing with one of the best goalkeepers in the NHL in Ilya Sorokin.
Sorokin is not only in the upper Echelon at his position, he is also someone who has given this opponent fits. In six career meetings with Montreal, he is 4-0-2 with a glittering 1.47 goal-for average and .949 Savings percentage.
The 29-year-old Russian native enjoy another nice year between the pipes and is in the middle of one of their best months of the season. For Mars, Sorokin is 5-2-1 with a 2.52 GAA and .915 Savings percent while you are facing almost 30 shots per match.
He is likely to face minor action on this night, as Habs records fewer images per match (25.9) than anyone else in the eastern conference.
Again, let’s repeat the density where this matchup will be constructed. Samuel Montembeault should also do its part and help keep the point to a minimum.
Given that the sum is universally 5.5 everywhere, I thank an academic NBAProp (similar Saturday) to take an extra goal while keeping the odds.
This props come in the Raptors-Warriors competition from the slate on late night and will require both Stephen Curry and Scottie Barnes to drop out over 9.5 points. A simple extra leg, right?
Pick: Canadiens-Islanders below 6.5, Barnes/Curry both over 9.5 points (-125, Draftkings)
