Reports: Arizona State Tabs GCU’s Molly Miller as women’s basketball coach

Arizona State didn’t have to go far to find her next women’s basketball coach and hired Molly Miller away from the Grand Canyon, several stores reported.

Sun Devils had not yet made the news officially from Saturday morning.

Miller led the Grand Canyon to his first NCAA tournament. The 13th-seated Lopes lost their first round to Fourth-seeded Baylor, 73-60, on Friday in Waco, Texas.

The defeat crushed the 30-game winning line for the Grand Canyon, which ended the season 32-3.

Miller, 38, had a 117-38 on the Grand Canyon since he took over the program before the 2020-21 season. She started her coaching career at her Alma Mater, Division II Drury, was her team was 180-17 for six seasons.

Earlier this month, Arizona State fired coach Natasha Adair, who was 29-62 for three seasons.
