A night of music, magic and milestone moments – The 2024 MAMA Awards (Mnet Asian Music Awards) was a night to remember, filled with music, magic and unforgettable moments! Spanning two continents and three vibrant days, this year’s ceremony celebrated the very best of Asian music with a global feel, leaving fans around the world in awe.
The event kicked off at Los Angeles’ iconic Dolby Theater on November 21st, before moving to Osaka’s Kyocera Dome for two electrifying nights on November 22nd and 23rd. This historic event across the continent unfolded in spectacular fashion, with amazing performances, heartfelt speeches and fierce competition, as chart toppers and trailblazing, rising stars alike vied for the spotlight.
Aespa led the pack with an impressive six wins out of eight nominations, including coveted titles such as ‘Song of the Year’ for ‘Supernova’ and ‘Best Female Group’. Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN cemented its global dominance, taking home five trophies, including “Artist of the Year” and “Album of the Year” for Seventeenth heaven. But the magic didn’t stop there – BTS’s Jungkook, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, IU and even global icon Bruno Mars were among the stars who took home some of the night’s most prestigious awards.
