MLB Player Prop Best Bet: Los Angeles Angels vs. Texas Rangers, April 17

Again, Winsday delivered in the form of another above/below triumph. Hopefully you did not catch the late evening Prop Bet (on Twitter/X), but published just minutes before the Rockies Dodgers series. Oops.

Playing on a suggestion is exactly how we try to earn on this Thursday slats. There are all players who should look at in the final action game today, with Texas Rangers aimed at swiping out Los Angeles Angels from Arlington.

Rangers secured the first two races in this three game set with surprisingly only seven combined runs. In the meantime, LA has only got a single run in this series, which came at the top of the sixth round of tonight’s ball game.

For this venture, we are just worried about the Texas batting order and make things difficult for starting Jack Kochanowicz, a second year’s jug for Halos trying to find his foot on the large league level.

Kochanowicz found some success in 11 starts as a beginner a season ago. Although he was saddled with a 2-6 record, the previous draft of the third round registered a respectable 3.99 era and 1.19 Whip. At the same time, opposite strokes met .275 from 6-foot-7 right hand.

In a throw to pitchers from previous years, when KS was much more rare, Kochanowicz comically accumulated only 25 strikes (although he went only 10) over his 65 1/3 input of work-it is a sad punch-out speed of 3.44 k/9.

So far this season, Kochanowicz’s strike frequency is somewhat up – 5.17 k/9 – but it is also his era (5.74) and Whip (1.34), which is a worrying sign considering that he has been happy that there is only a .250 batting average on balls played with him on the hill.

Two of young assignments as a beginner came opposite Rangers, and while Kochanowicz actually noted a quality start in both efforts, the most remarkable thing is that he only succeeded a single strike over the two excursions together. A!

Kochanowicz met a total of 55 Rangers beaters, and the lonely strike he could pull off was against the dead batt Dustin Harris, who probably won’t even be in the set tonight after becoming a pencil in battor order last night.

The point is that if Kochanowicz cannot remove people via K, he probably builds too high from a pitch and will not be able to go deep into the game. Texas is a team that makes you pay if you constantly allow them to put the ball into play.

Rangers have a strong start, but their crime is not. But it will change at the right time, and tonight’s attempt at a swipe gives a desirable opportunity to get some activity on the scoreboard. At least they will get Kochanowicz to work – and in turn it will probably not lead him to do so during the sixth.
