Javier Sanoja hammered and drove in five runs when Miami Marlins avoided a sweep with a 7-5, victory in 10 rounds against the host Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday.

Sanoja, who went into the day with zero home races and three RBI in 27 career games, helped Miami snapping a five -game’s losing line. Connor Norby added three hits for Marlins while Dane Myers had two hits and got twice.

Bryce Harper recorded two hits and two RBI for Philadelphia, who had won their three previous matches. Jesus Luzardo allowed two runs (one served) in seven rounds against his former team and knocked out seven without a walk.

Miami struck 4-2 in the eighth round before visitors made three runs against Orion Kerkering. Norby led with a single and Otto Lopez accompanied a bashit. Kerkering recovered to get the next two hits before Sanoja blasted a 1-1 pitch over the left-wing ceiling.

Philadelphia tied it in the lower half thanks to some shaky defense of marlins. The other bass man Otto Lopez received a potential double -play inning and then bobbed a grounder in the middle of Cal Stevenson, which made it possible for the binding to score.

Phillies put on two runners in the ninth against Calvin Faucher (1-1), but they could not press over the crucial driving. It set the stage for Marlin’s’ A-hasad rally.

Myers put a perfect bundle in the 10th against Matt Strahm (1-1) to put runners on first and third. Kyle Stower’s sacrificial fly made it 6-5 and then stole Myer’s second before Sanojas Grounder up in the middle placed an insurance.

Philadelphia made three runs in the first round against Connor Gillispie, highlighted by Harpers two-run double.

Miami came on the board of the second round of Sanoja’s sacrificial fly. Marlins added an unmistakable driving in the seventh because other Baseman Bryson Stott could not handle a two-out grounder, which allowed Sanoja to score to get Marlins within 4-2.

Gillispie allowed four runs and seven hits in five frames. Jesus Tinoco, the fourth Miami Reliever in the game, retired for the page in order on the 10th to register his first rescue.
