Best College Basketball Games Today: Michigan vs. Illinois picks March 2

As the regular season approaches the end, many teams will increase their intensity as they take one last shot at their regular season conference. This often results in exciting games, unexpected surfaces – and yes, some fantastic gaming opportunities.

But men’s games are not always the best to invest in, which is why I have included a couple of women’s games in today’s list.

Michigan against Illinois

No. 15 Michigan enters this game after winning eight of his last ten games. However, Wolverines does not play as well as a record as it usually indicates. They went 1-2 against ranked teams, with the latest loss to Michigan State (75-62) just over a week ago.

Since then, they have won two matches-49-46 against Nebraska and 84-82 against Rutgers. No game should have been so close it was.

When it comes to Illinois, Illini comes into this game fresh by a 20-point victory over Iowa. But three losses preceded that victory, and they were not competitive in any of them. They lost by 14 to Michigan State, 21 to Wisconsin and 43 to Duke.

Michigan has cut it closely in his last two matches but managed to win both. Illinois crushed Iowa (one of the worst teams in the Big Ten) but was crushed in the three games before. Therefore, I do not have confidence that Illinois puts a fight against a motivated Wolverines team at home.

The first half will be competitive – Illinois may even have a lead at the break – but Michigan will pull away during the second half.

Best bets, NCAAW: Duke vs. Florida State

Duke got a crushing loss for then no. 1 Notre Dame a couple of weeks ago, followed by a loss of 70-62 to Louisville. But then Blue Devil’s Syracuse dominated 80-49 and defeated No. 8 North Carolina by 15 points (68-53) on Thursday.

Blue Devils will get their work to cut out for them against a Florida State team that rides on a four-match victory, which includes victories over No. 20 Georgia Tech and No. 3 Notre Dame in its last outing.

Some of me really want to get behind Florida State. However, Duke’s defense is solid and will hold FSU well below its seasonal average (89.3 points per match). Blue Devils’ crime (sixth best in ACC) will have no problems making points against Florida State Defense (second last in ACC).

Our choice: Duke -3.5 on -115 (ESPN bet)

Best bets, NCAAW: TCU vs. Baylor

As if a high tone was not enough, it was not enough motivation, TCU (27-3, 15-2) and Baylor (25-5, 15-2) mainly play for the large 12 regular seasonal title today. Both teams come in hot. TCU defeated Houston 91-56 on Wednesday for its sixth victory in a row.

With a victory 79-62 over Kansas State on Monday, Baylor has won nine in a row. Its last loss? It came against TCU, 80-75, January 26. That victory snapped Baylor’s victory with 37 games against TCU. The horned frogs have never beaten Baylor in Waco.

A focused and determined Baylor team overcame almost a 22-point deficit with five minutes left during the third quarter. They didn’t, but they continued to win nine in a row. However, TCU won seven of its next eight (lost to Kansas State 59-50 on February 5); Each win was with two -digit numbers.

I want to take Baylor’s money. I really do. But while the bears have been playing good basketball since the loss, so have TCU. It will be a fantastic game, but in the end I think TCU will win in the end.
