Best Sports Game Selection Today: College Basketball, NBA Presents for February 11

Did the college football season start up? For who would have ever thought that Auburn and Alabama would be ranked as No. 1 and No. 2 in College Basketball? Come on Saturday, the two schools will have a showdown on Tuscaloosa to decide which school is No. 1.

The tigers are 21-2 after losing to then no. 6 Florida 90-81 on Saturday. Crimson Tide is 20-3 with six straight wins. Basketball Programs – Pearl’s Pearl for Auburn, Nate Oats for Alabama – currently has better head coach than the football programs (Hugh Freeze from Auburn, Kalen Deboer from Alabama).

Kevin Durant returns to the court Tuesday to aim at 30,000 points. Durant needs 26 points to get there when the spouting Phoenix Suns hosted Memphis Grizzlies. Yes Morant and his friends are second in the Western conference.

We will discuss Sun’s chances of beating grizzlies while studying the two southeastern conference powers. Auburn visits Vanderbilt and Alabama is in Texas.

Auburn Tigers on Vanderbilt Commodores

Auburn had won 14 games in a row before he fell to the streets but remained on top of the vote with nine points, mainly because it got 34 first place votes to Alabamas 23. Tiger’s defense disappointed against Florida when Auburn gave up a seasonal score in 90-81 setbacks.

Alabama Crimson Tide at Texas Longhorns

Crimson Tide is 7-1 on the road with the lone loss that comes on then. No. 15 Purdue in mid -November. Alabama’s last four road winnings have all been with six points or less, including Saturday’s 85-81 victory over Arkansas. Crimson Tide led by 18 in the second half before Razorbacks made a late-game fee.

Mark Sears has 13 20-point excursions for Alabama, but he has been inconsistent lately and had only 11 points against Arkansas. Grant Nelson and Chris Youngblood each had a 15 point and Mouhamed Dioubate came from the bench to get 14 points on 7-9 shooting.

Longhorns started 11-2 but has since gone 4-7 in SEC games, including losses in succession to Arkansas and Vanderbilt. Texas coach Rodney Terry scored a good point after the loss to Commodores. “Many teams lose two in a row in this league,” Terry said.

But can Longhorns (10-4 at home) make the big profit they need to light up their resume? Probably not.

Memphis Grizzlies on Phoenix Suns

Suns sits at .500 after losing four of his last five matches. Durant is back after missing three matches with a precise left ankle, and you can expect him to aim for the 30K mark. He will be the eighth player in the NBA history to reach the milestone.

Durant said he was not insulted to be mentioned in trade calls. That’s good, because Suns is 2-11 this season when Durant doesn’t play. Devin Booker has participated in his game with four 3-point excursions in the last six games, topped by a season high 47 to join 11 assists in a 135-127 overtime victory over the visiting Utah Jazz on Friday.

Grizzlies won 10 out of 11 matches before losing 125-112 to the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday. Memphis was exceeded on the boards with a bill of 55-40. Desmond Bane made 20 and has noted 20 or more in 14 of its last 17 performances.

Memphis defeated the host Suns 117-112 on December 31. Star Jaren Jackson Jr. Had 38 points and Bane got 31 for grizzlies. Durant had 29 points for Phoenix.
