It is the last day before the NBA All-Star break, and we will check out a couple of games. One involves Shai Gilgeous-Alexander; The other includes Stephen Curry.
This makes me wonder if Curry knows in his own mind that he is no longer top scorer in the league. Would the legendary curry say loudly that SGA is now that guy?
Curry and Golden State Warriors (27-27) will end the break at Houston Rockets. Gilgeous-Alexanders Oklahoma City Thunder owns an NBA best 44-9 record entering their road collision against Minnesota Timberwolves.
We will also look at a college basketball game between Gonzaga and visit San Francisco. The bulldogs have trouble staying ranked for the second straight season.
Oklahoma City Thunder at Minnesota Timberwolves
Oklahoma City has registered seven straight wins, and all have been with double -digit numbers with an average winning margin of 24.1. The Routna includes beatdowns of 34 over Sacramento Kings, 29 over Milwaukee Bucks and 31 over Phoenix Suns in succession, plus a 36-point Truncing of New Orleans Pelicans.
Gilgeous-Alexander has received 50 or more points in three of his last 11 performances and has not received fewer than 25 points since December 28. OKC exceeded Miami 32-8 during the fourth quarter of Wednesday for a home victory of 115-101.
Ok, so Minnesota Anthony Edwards is certainly looking forward to this game after posting 49, 41 and 44 points over a three-game range before he has 28 in Wednesday’s loss 103-101 to Bucks. Edwards bakes from long reach and have made 23 3 points during the last four competitions.
Minnesota is only 15-13 at home this season after going 26-15 all last season. In addition, Gilgeous-Alexander Timberwolves thought up for 40 points in a home victory 113-105 on December 31 when Edwards had only 20.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to make 35-Plus points, +130 (Draftkings)

Golden Warriors at Houston Rockets
Warriors struggles to get into a play-in spot while the rockets are fourth in the west, which is crazy considering that Houston last made the playoffs 2020. Golden State hopes Jimmy Butler will give a serious elevator, and so, the Motivated Jimmy has appeared.
Butler has received 20 or more in all three matches since the Golden State acquired him from Miami Heat. He had 21 points, nine returns and seven assists in Wednesday’s loss 111-107 to Dallas Mavericks. Curry made 25 against Dallas after topping 30 in four straight matches.
Rockets has won two straight matches after a seasonal six-game ski where five of the losses were on the way. This kind of show makes people wonder how Houston will go on the road in the playoffs despite its talented list.
Tari Eason had 25 points, Jalen Green got 22 and Amen Thompson contributed 18 points, 11 assists and 10 returns in Wednesday’s victory 119-111 over the visiting Phoenix Suns. Golden State is 2-1 against Rockets this season, but Houston is founded for the series.
Rockets -2, -108 (Draftkings)

San Francisco Dons on Gonzaga Bulldogs
The West Coast Conference feels non -existent this season, and it is a product of Gonzaga that has slipped some notches. It is not the four nonconference backs law that are difficult, but the three WCC losses in the last seven games are very O-Zag-like.
The road loss to Saint Mary’s does not feel so bad, but losing at home against Santa Clara did not even occur when Broncos had current NBA players like Jalen Williams for three years and the Podziemski brand for one (not at the same time). Is coach Mark few who lose the touch? Does the Nil -eran Gonzaga prevent from getting transfers that they used to score?
Can Drew hour be allowed back in a league where he can stand out? The bulldogs are to beat San Francisco but look at the WCC position – Dons is in second place, just above the bulldogs.
San Francisco has won four straight matches – it hit Saint Mary’s on February 6 – so expect Dons to keep it close. They need both Malik Thomas (19.2 ppg) and Marcus Williams (14.4) on top of their games to have an upset.
San Francisco Plus -14.5 points, -115 (Draftkings)
