Society of London Theater has announced that musical theater stars Beverley Knight and Billy Porter will host the Olivier Awards 2025.
The annual ceremony will take place in Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 6 April 2025 and will once again honor the best of the British Theater and celebrates outstanding performances in London’s West End and other leading non-commercial theaters.
Highlights from the show will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVon the event’s evening.
Knight said she was happy to be worth and added: “I am even more excited to host with Billy Porter which is a phenomenal talent. It is an honor to be asked to keep the fabric in such an important and prestigious night to celebrate theater. “
With Porter added: “I am proud of and honored to host the Olivier Awards along with the fantastic Beverley Knight. I am so grateful for the warm welcome from the London Theater community and look forward to a magnificent evening! ”
The Olivier Awards, founded after the famous actor Sir Laurence Olivier in 1984, are regarded as the highest award in the British Theater, similar to BAFTA AWARDS for film and television.
