Brewers Back Jose Quintana’s sparkling pitching with 3 homers, beat the Tigers 5-1

Jose Quintana threw 5 2/3 quality inings and Christian Yelich beat one of three Milwaukee home shopping when Milwaukee Brewers published a 5-1 victory over the visiting Detroit Tigers on Wednesday afternoon.

Quintana (2-0) allowed a run of four hits, while they knocked out four and went three. Rhys Hoskins had a two-run Homer and Sal Frelick connected to their first home run in the season, as the breweries took two out of three from Detroit.

The Detroit Starter Keider Montero (0-1) gave up five earned runs on eight hits but knocked out eight and went only one. Spencer Torkelson’s Solo Home Run stood for all Tiger’s points. Javier Baez finished with a couple of hits for Detroit, which has lost three of four matches.

Quintana worked around three first-input walks before Montero knocked out three at the bottom of the first, even though you allowed Yelich and William Contreras singles.

Milwaukee first struck in the second when Garrett Mitchell hit a one-out triple and later scored on an Oliver Dunn victim.

The breweries thanked the third, when Yelich launched this year’s fourth Homer-one 404-foot solo shot-and Hoskin’s belt a two-run homer three battles later to extend the lead to 4-0.

Detroit broke the scoreboard with Torkelson’s solo Homer in the sixth, his sixth of the season. After Quintana knocked out Riley Greene, Baez reached a fault, and Abner Uribe replaced the Milwaukee starter after 100 seats.

Brewers got the drive back in the home half of the sixth, as Frelick’s first home race of the year gave Milwaukee a 5-1 edge. After Hoskins singled, Montero was relieved by steep Hurter.

Trevor Megill beat the ninth for Brewers, which allowed Dillon Dingler’s one-out single, before Kerry Carpenter founded into a game-ending doubles.
