Brooks Koepka admitted Wednesday that he is not completely satisfied with where Liv Golf stands when the Upstart circle continues his fourth year of existence.
“I think we all hoped it would have been a little longer, and it’s no secret,” Koepka said before Liv Golf Miami tournament at Trump National Doral.
“No matter where you are, you always hope that everything is longer. But they make progress and it seems to go in the right direction.”
Koepka’s comments come on the heel of his words in March that caused a movement. At that time, the five-times great champion did not completely dismissal from Fred-couple that Koepka wants to return to the PGA tour.
“Everyone seems to have their own opinion and no one asks me,” Koepka said at that time, before this week’s life event in Singapore. “As I have said before, I’m not in these rooms. I have a contractual obligation here to fulfill, and then we’ll see what happens.”
Koepka left the PGA tour in June 2022 for a contract with life which is reportedly worth more than $ 100 million and runs until 2026.
But let’s go back to Koepka’s comments on Wednesday, especially when it comes to Liv Golf’s direction.
After all, Liv Golf has made significant changes this year, including Scott O’Neill, which replaces Greg Norman as the CEO besides changing his team format to get all players’ points to count in each round.
With that in mind, Dechambeau chose to divert the question of what changes must be made for life to take positive progress.
“I would say it’s a Scott question,” said Dichbeau. “Scott O’Neil will take a knife at it. We do not know everything that happens, but from what we have heard there is a lot of positive growth and positive speed from a sponsorship page.
“I would say from a golf course that we play golf courses that are slightly easier right now, and I think it will be more difficult when the season is going. I hope we can continue to play some more difficult golf courses, but as our fourth year, see, it is a start. It is still four years in, and we work against what we have always believed in this league.
