Byu has the fourth best scoring crime (80.4) in BIG 12, while Baylor is just behind in the fifth (79.9). Byu and Baylor check in at No. 7 and 8 respectively in points defense, and both teams are among the league’s top 3-point shooting team. Byu is on average the most made triples per match (10.6) and Baylor is ranked as third (9.2).
In addition, both teams have the same total record and ride on the two-game winning stripes.
Byu (13-6, 4-4 Big 12) cruised to an 80-52 victory over Cincinnati on Saturday to improve to 10-1 at home this season.
Cougars impressed from long reach with 15 3-pointer, including five of Richie Saunders and three each of Egor Demin, Trevin Knell and Kanon Catchings. Byu lost 11 3-points in its previous game, a victory of 83-67 over Colorado in Boulder, Colo., On Tuesday.
“We have many good shooters,” said Cougar’s coach Kevin Young. “There are two games in a row that we have shown that we are very capable of getting many 3. and gets us a little more space to get rid of shots. ”
Baylor (13-6, 5-3) will during the time of a victory 76-61 on Utah on Saturday. Norchad Omier (22 points, 12 returns) and VJ Edgecombe (21 points) had prominent performance, but the bears have to do with a short list.
