Cade Cunningham scored 29 points and Detroit Pistons cruised for his 10th victory in 11 matches by beating Utah Jazz 134-106 Monday evening in Salt Lake City.
Cunningham also ran out nine assists and got 17 points during the first half when Detroit built a 23-point management-to help the pistons start a four-game road trip with an exhaust. He also had four steals.
Jalen Duren contributed 16 points, 12 returns, four blocks, two assists and two steals, while former jazz players Malik Beasley and Simone Fontecchio made 15 and 10 respectively.
Ausar Thompson added 17 points, six boards, five assists, three steals and one block. He scored 7 out of 7 field goals for Detroit, which made 55.4 percent of his pictures.
Kyle Filipowski led Utah with 25 points and four 3 points. He also pulled on eight boards in a reserve role.
Collin Sixteen got 16 and Walker Kessler had 14 points and nine returns for jazz, which lost their second match in as many nights.
Utah ended their hometown with a 3-6 record. Jazz will play its first road game since February 10 on Wednesday in Washington, when they start a five-play’s eastern hike.
The jazz turned the ball over 28 times and shot only 42.7 percent from the field while he fell for the fourth time in five excursions since last Monday.
Sixteen gave jazz a lead of 16-15 halfway during the first quarter when Pistons made their move.
Dennis Schroder triggered a 14-0 run with a 3-pointer. During a four-minute speechless distance, Jazz undertook five turnover against the Feisty Detroit defense.
Cunningham scored 11 points during the second quarter when Pistons cruised to half-time 67-47.
During the decisive first half, the piston pulled out 16 assists with only four turnover compared to five assists and 18 turnover for jazz. Detroit finished with 32 assists and 13 turnover.
