Boyd Gaming Corp. managers, who were united by Henderson’s municipal council and leadership from the nearby 12,000-home-planned cadence development, broke Mark on Thursday at Cadence Crossing, a casino that will eventually replace the 33-year-old Jokers Wild Casino at Bulder Highway.
Flanked by design equipment took dignity men interspersed with the ceremonial forestry of dirt at the event.
Due to open in mid-2026, Cadence Crossing will have 450 tracking machines and several still unidentified food and beverage places.
Boyd Executive Vice President of Operations Steve Schutte, who addressed the audience of about 60 people, said that Jokers Wild Casino would continue to work until the new casino is ready to open. It will then be demolished to make room for parking for the new plant.
Cadence Crossing is being built in phases that match the rate of development in the subdivision, which is currently the fastest growing master planned society in the country.
This is a developing story. Come back for updates.
