Chimera Esports and Parivision are the early teams that hit Dreamleague season 25, as each improved to 2-0 with victories on day 2 in the Group Stage 2 game on Saturday.
In today’s two other matches, Team Spirit and Team Falcons picked up their first Group Stage 2 victories to improve to 1-1.
Group step 2 in the 1 million Dota 2 event is a single round-Robin group with eight teams that meet in the best-three matches. Each team will play all other teams once.
The two best teams from Group Stage 2 will go to the playoffs in the playoffs, the third and fourth place law will land in the lower console and the remaining teams will be eliminated.
Chimera had a fairly easy time against team fluid and won in 46 and 29 minutes, both on red, to sweep the competition. Artem “Lorenof” Melnick from Ukraine led Chimera with 21 kills on the two maps.
Parivision needed a little more time against Tundra Esports, lost in 63 minutes green before pulling a reverse swipe – 56 minutes on green and 35 minutes on red – to win the match.
Russian Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov led the winners with 41 kills (including a couple of 18-ball efforts after collecting five kills on the opening map).
Spirit handed over the Betboom team its first loss in group step 2 and won in 40 and 35 minutes in a sweep – once played on red and once on green. And Falcons dropped heroic to 0-2 with an inverse sweep-wounded in 40 minutes on red before winning in 34 minutes on green and 53 minutes on red.
