Irish singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot gives us ALL felt this week with the release of his latest single “Who Makes You Feel It”.
Loved for his ability to channel big emotions into intimate music, the heartfelt track sees Cian team up with the GRAMMY winner Lostboy (Calvin Harris, Kylie Minogue)and Theo Hutchcraft (Louis Tomlinson) to produce super relatable and joyful classical piano pop.
“The song is basically a big, “tell me, is this new guy better than me?”,” the “I will wait” the singer says about singing. “It’s about how we all find ourselves stalking our exes even when we say we’re not. And when you inevitably notice they’ve moved on, that feeling of jealousy and curiosity kicks in and you just have to know, ‘Who is that? Who makes you feel better than me? or, “I notice it looks like your life is great and you’re really making the most of it, but ARE YOU MISSING MEEEE too?!””
“It’s also kind of sarcastic in a way to ask this person if they got everything they dreamed of after leaving you saying you ‘hope’ they did. It finally feels like the beginning of a new chapter I’ve been so eager to find and a part of me I’ve been so eager to express and discover! Making music without walls or boundaries or any boundaries has allowed me to be so much more creative and truly create from a place of complete freedom!
