Los Angeles Clipper’s head coach Tyronn Lue was not on the bench for Sunday’s home game against Sacramento Kings due to back pain.
The team announced just before Tipoff that Lue was sent home and that assistant coach Brian Shaw would be responsible for the team.
Los Angeles went on Sunday in a winning line with two games and first marked the team won in a row since a three-game winning line February 8-13. Clippers and Kings met as no. 8 and 9 teams in the Western Conference respectively.
Damage problems have plagued the Clippers season. Star forward Kawhi Leonard missed the first 34 games with chronic knee problems, while leading painter Norman Powell was out for the ninth time in 10 matches, first with a knee injury and currently with hamstrings.
