Deebo Samuel, who was treated by San Francisco 49ers to the Washington commanders over the weekend, took to social media on Monday to clarify their feelings about his now former team and his conditioning in 2024.
After a disappointing season in 2024, the veteran wide recipient requested a trade, and the 49th century was eventually guilty.
He published Monday on X, “49ers know where I stand with them and it is nothing but love. Love John (Lynch, the boss) and Kyle (Shanahan, head coach) to death no bad blood no way form or form. They know that I am more than appreciative for everything they did for me as a player and a man nothing but love.”

Samuel also responded to a quote from Athletic’s Tim Barrows who spoke at the TK Show podcast. Barrows said: “(Samuel’s weight 2024) became really high and there may have been grounds for it. Not being able to exercise because of pneumonia. Not being able to exercise due to injuries. But it is a concern. I think the 49 speakers had the concern he showed in Santa Clara 2019 and it never completely passed away.”

Last season, Samuel finished with 51 catches for 670 meters and three touchdowns in addition to 42 berries for 136 meters and one point. The total Yar Day was the lowest figure in his career, outside the 2020 campaign when he showed up in just seven matches.
Samuel, 27, was a first team all-pro 2021, when he had 1,770 total turns and 14 total touchdowns.
In 81 Career NFL Games (73 starts), all for 49ers, Samuel has 334 receptions for 4,792 meters and 22 touchdowns. He has produced 1 143 meters and 20 TD on 202 cars.
Washington shared a draft of the fifth round to San Francisco in exchange for Samuel.
