Devin Booker pours in 27 when Suns rushes past Raptors

Devin Booker scored 27 points to lead six Phoenix Scores in double figures, and Suns opened a five-game homestand with its most inclined victory in the season in a season 129-89 by Toronto Raptors.

Phoenix (32-37) opened the second quarter on a 23-4 run that lasted 5:44 and took the control from there. A dominant 39-11 second period sent Suns in interruption with a 23-point lead, and it just snowed from there.

The 89 points that Phoenix handed over marked the second smallest that Suns has given up this season, the result of holding Toronto to 31-of-87 shooting from the floor. Raptors’ three best Score-Scottie Barnes with 16 points, Immanuel Quickley with 15 and Jamison Battle with 14-managed 5-AV-14, 5-AV-14 and 5-AV-14 from the field.

Suns went through 47-of-92 from the floor and a dry 20-39 from 3-point intervals. Tyus Jones came from the bench to knock down 4-of-7 from depth on the way to 15 points.

Royce O’Neale and Booker shot each 3-of-6 beyond the arch. O’Neale finished with 11 points in reserve service and took 10 returns for a double double.

Oso Oghodaro published almost a double double from the bench as well and went for nine points and 10 returns. Ryan Dunn scored 17 points for Suns, Kevin Durant added 14 and Nick Richards got 10 points.

Toronto (24-45) lowered the 23-point half-time lead to 19 a few times early in the third quarter before giving up 22 points in less than six minutes to end the period.

Raptors could not overcome his poor shooting or give up 20 points on sales to just nine of their own.

Toronto remained without RJ Barrett and Jakob Poeltl, while and and returned to the lineup on Sunday – sat on Monday.

AJ Lawson and Orlando Robinson came from the bench to get 12 points each for Raptors. Colin Castleton finished with 10 points. Quickley produced a team high seven returns and a gaming high seven assists.
