Los Angeles Dodgers started the season in 2025 with a wave and swept its first three series to build an 8-0 record.

An important part of that success was the team’s crime, which produced 45 runs, on average almost six per match.

More recently, however, the bats have cooled down. Dodgers has only 29 runs in the last nine matches (3-6) and lost the last three series.

They will strive to turn it around when they host the last place Colorado Rockies on Monday evening in the opener of a three-game set.

Dodgers comes from a 4-2 loss to Chicago Cubs on Sunday.

“I think we just haven’t been synchronized offensively,” said Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts. “It’s not from preparation, work. … It will happen. It’s only in the last nine, 10 game, it just doesn’t.”

Dodgers Shohei Ohtani has been up and down the latest series. He went 1-for-12 against Chicago after going 6-for-13 versus Washington Nationals, which was preceded by a 1-for-11 set against Philadelphia Phillies.

The right-wing dealer Dustin May (0-1, 0.82 era) is scheduled to start for Los Angeles on Monday. He has four career appearance (three starts) against Colorado. He has a 2.81 era while allowing five runs on 12 hits in these games but has not yet made a decision.

It has been even more of a fight offensively for Rockies, who was outscore 16-0 in being swept in three matches by San Diego Padres on the weekend, the first time in Rockie’s history they have become empty in three straight matches.

Rockies have a league-low driving while giving up 84, bound for the second most in MLB behind only athletics (89). Colorado went 9-for-88 with only 12 baserunners against San Diego and released the team’s average from .243 into the series to .218.

“In recent weeks it has been frustrating for the guys,” said Colorado bid Bud Black. “The guys have put in the work, but it’s just not to translate. It’s frustrating with certainty.”

They only have three wins in 15 matches this season and are last sitting in the MLB position. Their start is tied with the 2019 team for the worst even 15 games in franchise history.

Rookie second basic prospectus Adael Amador will look to show off their work from Triple-A Albuquerque after being invited to Sunday. He played in Rockie’s 6-0 loss to Padres and went 0-for-3.

After struggling in a 10-game discussion last season, Amador enjoyed a solid start in Albuquerque this season with an average of .275 and a .858-BAS-PLUS-LUGGING CHOCUS.

“I showed confidence. It was the most important thing that was missing last year,” said Amador through an interpreter. “It’s a big part of my game, with that confidence to show my abilities out there.”

The right-wing dealer Antonio Senzatela (0-2, 5.14 era) starts for Rockies on Monday. The 30-year-old is 4-6 with a 6.08 era in 17 performances (15 starts) against Dodgers.
