Houston Dynamo acquired defender Pablo Ortiz on loans from Slovakian Side DAC in 1904 on Thursday.
The 24-year-old Colombian center is signed through the 2025 season. The deal includes a purchase option.
“Pablo is a talented left foot with impressive athletics that will compete in minutes in our backline,” Dynamo President of Football Pat Onstad said. “He is a high -potential player who will benefit from our development environment in Houston.”
Ortiz arrives with 99 professional performances, including Stints in Colombia (America de Cali), Denmark (FC Midtjylland) and the Czech Republic (FK Pardubice).
