The Philadelphia Eagles center Cam Jurgens underwent a procedure to relieve nerve pain in the back on Tuesday, nine days after playing in the Super Bowl Lix.

Per a report from ESPN on Thursday is expected to make a complete recovery in time for training camp in July.

Jurgens, 25, replaced the retired Jason Kelce to start the season and got a Pro Bowl -Nick after starting all 16 matches where he played.

Jurgens handled the injury during the playoffs. Although he could not start in the NFC championship against Washington Commander, he entered the game instead of Landon Dickerson after the latter suffered a knee injury.

Jurgens has started 27 of the 44 games where he has played since he was selected by the Eagles in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft from Nebraska.
