The Eagles are welcome in the White House, and Philadelphia accepted an invitation to celebrate its Super Bowl Lix victory on April 28.
Two days after the end of the 2025 NFL draft, Eagles is planned to participate in a ceremony in the White House who honors the 2024 masters for their victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans last month.
“I know there were many fake news about an invitation that was not sent or sent, we want to correct the record: we sent an invitation, they accepted enthusiastically, and you will see them here on April 28,” said White House Press Secretary Karoline Levitt Tuesday.
Eagles did not participate in the White House after winning Super Bowl Lii 2018. President Donald Trump, then served his first term, canceled the event after learning that several prominent players planned not to participate. Only four players from the Super Bowl champion 2018 were on the guard list for the 2024 season and the latest Lombardi Trophy.
The Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers 2024 visited the White House in February.
