Global Pop Megastar Ed Sheeran Presses is playing on a brand new era today (April 4) with the release of its brand new single ‘My dear’.
Co -written and produced in collaboration with Ilya Salmanzadeh (Ariana Grande, Charli XCX, Ellie Goudling, Sam Smith)The Johnny McDaid (Robbie Williams, Rag’n’bone Man) and Savan Kotecha (One Direction, JLS)the hedonistic track acts as a call to live the moment “Between the dance lights” on the dance floor until the sun rises.
With its title a Persian delight meaning “My dear” or “My loved one”Lyrically, the song aims at reflecting a unifying and symbolic return to joy, light, to love and fun, while it is surrounding production infuses Irish people with Persian inspired beats to a great effect.
Sheeran comments on life -confirming tracks, says Sheeran via a press release: “Although it is completely different from anything I have ever done before, ‘My dear’ Feeling familiar to me. I wanted to create a party atmosphere in a song and Ilya Salmanzadeh, which I worked with on the track, helped to live it up. He was so inspiring to work with. “
In a new music video that comes with the single publishing, Ed viewers take on the journey on his latest trip across the United States (and a bit of the UK), as a chronic by director/videograph Liam Pethick.
