Six days after entering the League of the Americas Championship in the Americas Cross-Conference tournament, Flyquest showed no signs of rust in swiping its quarter final Saturday in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
100 thieves, who advanced to the tournament two weekends ago, also won their first match with a 2-0 point and created a showdown with Flyquest on February 22.
The Lat-Conference tournament of $ 40,000 is the first League of Legends League of the Americas Cross-Conference event for the year. Eight teams play in a single elimination console, with the first two quarter finals played Saturday and the other two planned for Sunday.
The semi -finals will take place on February 22 with the big final the day after. The prize money is divided between second to fourth place teams, where the runner receives $ 20,000 and third and fourth location teams receive $ 10,000 each. The winner qualifies for the first stand tournament in March.
On Saturday, 100 thieves opened with 32 and 39-minute victories against pain games, with 100 thieves who won both maps on blue. 100 thieves were led by MVP glue “Quid” Hyeon-Seung in South Korea. Quid published a 10-5-18 Kill/Death/Assist relationship. Brazilian Alexandre “Titan” Lima led pain with a 9/10/11 KDA.
In the second quarter finals, Flyquest played on red for both matches and beat Leviatatan every time in 35 minutes. MVP Kacper “Inspired” Sloma of Poland published only seven kills for flyquest but had no deaths and 29 assists. Artur “Scary” Queiroz from Brazil Paced Leviatan in the loss with an 8/7/9 KDA.
