Cleveland Guardians acquired the right hand Cody Bolton from Seattle Mariners on Tuesday in exchange for cash considerations.
Guardians quickly chose Bolton to Triple-A Columbus and transferred his left hand John means to the 60-day disabled list.
Bolton, 26, published a 1-0 record with a 5.40 ERA in 33 career relief with Pittsburgh Pirates (2023) and Mariners (2024).
He had a 9.00 era with a rescue in two relief performances with Triple-A Tacoma this season before being appointed assignment on Saturday.
