Tyler Herro-I a large bounce-back-game-produced 24 points and 10 assists when the host Miami Heat defeated Atlanta Hawks 131-109 on Wednesday.
In Miami’s previous game-a loss on Atlanta on Monday, Herro was maintained to 11 points while he shot 0-for-9 on 3-score. He made 4 out of 8 attempts from deep on Wednesday.
The heat also got a season high 24 points from Duncan Robinson. Davion Mitchell received 12 of his 20 points during the third quarter. Bam Adebayo, who was hesitant to play because of a calf injury, added 20 points and nine returns.
As a team, Miami made 23 out of 42 from 3-point intervals (54.8 percent), including a 5-for-5 mitchell and a 6-for-13-excursion from Robinson.
For the hawks, Trae Young had 17 points and eight assist-3.5 assists under their NBA average. Dyson Daniels added a team high 18 points and two steals. He went into the day and led the NBA at a speed of 3.1 steal per match. Caris Leildrt also got 17 points.
Zaccharie Risacher – the first overall election in last year’s draft – had 11 points and three assists when Atlanta lost to Miami for the first time in three meetings this season. The team ends the season series on March 27 in Miami.
During the first quarter, Miami shot 61.1 percent and took a lead of 29-28. Atlanta also shot well (55 percent).
The Hawks grew forward during the second quarter before Heat went on a 13-0 driving to go up with eight on a 3-pointer from Robinson. Atlanta came back, and the score was tied 65-65 at half time.
The first half contained eight lead changes and nine tie results. Herro led all the first half -scores with 17 points, and Robinson added 14 points. Atlanta shot 60.0 percent during the first half, including 8-for-16 on 3-point attempts. Miami shot 58.6 percent, including 11-for-19 from depth.
During the third quarter, Miami with a 20-6 run and took a lead of 107-93 into the fourth. Mitchell’s effort was the key, and Robinson and Mitchell limited the period with 3-points.
The hawks never came closer than 13 points during the fourth quarter.
Atlanta lost even though I shot 50.6 percent from the floor for the game, including 12-for-32 (37.5 percent) beyond the arch.
