After 15 years climbing the trail with the multi-year Super Bowl-continuing Kansas City Chiefs, Borgonzi left Nashville to give a spark to a Titans-Franchise that has had more misses than hits this decade. Former head of Carthon left the team in a less than advantageous position on crime and acted away Franchise-Wideout Aj Brown and preparing Will Levis, who has not shown the franchise level.

For Borgonzi, it’s time for a rebuild. This is the plan.

Step 1: Solve Quarterback problem

Titan’s current quarterback room is led by last year’s starter, Will Levis. Levis showed some tools in college but never found a rhythm in Tennessee’s crime. Handel rumors have arisen because there was clear change is in the future.

Go into Cam Ward, Miami Hurricanes Quarterback and the best choice for the Titans with the first overall election.

Levis consistently struggled with accuracy and Poise – two features that Ward brings with him in spades. His 67.2% closing rate tells only half the story; Band shows that his living arm and timing are what Help Ward gets the ball in the right position as quickly as possible. The titans do not have to think about this: Quarterbacken is the most important position, and Ward’s combination of arm talent, raw athletics and potential makes him the best option in the draft.

Step 2: Finish the ditches

The Titans have taken a strong approach to setting up their future quarterback for success and secure Dan Moore and Kevin Zeitler in free agency after the previous regime prepared future prospects early to help win the battle at the audit line. It includes offensive Linemen JC Latham and Peter Skoronski, both first round, and in 2024 second round of defensive tackle t’vonre sweat that holds the fort on defense. The only position to be solved is edge rusher. With the No. 34 choice, the titans were able to secure a number of talented players.

The first proposal would be Nic Scourton, who has recently slipped up boards in favor of its Hyper-sporting teammate Shemar Stewart. Scourton is not a slouch. He provides impressive power and athletics, as well as proven production – something that Stewart does not have on his resume. Other possibilities may be Marshall’s Mike Green, which is technically polished but has other issues on its draft report card, or JT Tuimoloau, a tall floor Rusher that can provide some stability to the unit.

Step 3: Give Ward -Weapon

Day three in the draft should be spent giving Ward a crew of the rookie receivers and skill stales to see what sticks.

Pair department with Xavier Restrepo, his most productive recipient from Miami, can be appealing. Restrepo could fill the slot machine for the Titans.

For an external weapon, the Titans could look after Kyle Williams from the State of Washington. He has strong ball skills and a Twitchy movement style that can give outside corners. Even a tight ending can be in the picture, like Jalin Conyers from Texas Tech, which could get size for a room with chig Okonkwo. A rookie -quarterback deserves to get support with a role that can grow with him, and to snag these weapons can overload Ward’s development.

The Titans have a bright future with Borgonzi and can quickly climb to be a challenger in AFC South. But there is something that the Titans must remember that Borgonzi cannot control: Rome cannot be built in one day. The last Director General got only two years of his vision in place during a period where things were already going down. Putting the titans in position for stability, to let Borgonzi build a team fully be important.

The franchise already knows that the alternative gets stuck in constant redevelopment mode.
