Orlando makes only 104.3 points per match, which is last in the league. But when the magic exceeded the brand five times in the last eight games, it went 4-1 in these competitions.
“Trying different rotations and appearance, we have to continue to find guys (who) can give a spark,” Mosley said. “These guys remain all prepared. They stay ready for their moment.”
Anthony Black, who got 23 points on Sunday, is such a player. The second year guard has made in double figures five times during the last eight matches-all Orlando victories.
All score options for magic will be on Tuesday conversation against NBA’s most productive scoring crime. On average, Cleveland is an NBA best 122.9 points per match behind Donovan Mitchell’s average 24.2. Darius Garland gets 21.3 points per match while Evan Mobley adds 18.7.
Garland (HIP) missed Cavalier’s 129-123 victory on Sunday over Memphis Grizzlies, but Cleveland coach Kenny Atkinson said that Garland could be back in the lineup Tuesday. Cavaliers also saw Jarrett Allen Exit Sunday’s game during the third quarter.
Allen, who, on average, 13.6 points and a team -leading 10.4 returns per match, had a finger injury earlier this week against New York. His status for Tuesday is uncertain.
Mitchell scored 33 points to set the beat versus grizzlies. Mobley added 25 and for Jerome broke out for 26 from the bench by 15 which came during the fourth quarter.
Jerome has emerged as a reliable offensive weapon for Cleveland with 13 double-digit scores in the last 17, including a 33-point outbreak on January 24 in Philadelphia.
Cleveland also added the perimeter with the acquisition of De’andre Hunter from Atlanta in a deal that sent veteran Caris Levart to the hawks. In five matches since joining Cavaliers, Hunter has an average of 13.4 points per match.
Hunter has come from the bench in four of these five competitions, but Atkinson pointed to the overall minutes that Hunter plays as a sign of his value to Cleveland.
“De’andre … on average start minutes so far, or up there,” said Atkinson about Hunter’s 24.2 minutes per competition. “As long as you are in the main rotation, as he is, he is more than good with it.”
