Interview: Faith Nibbe speaks Hollywood Acting and her new sitcom pilot

The rising star Faith Nibbe began his career in the entertainment industry at just 4 years. In a few short years she has made a name for herself, starring in a number of productions including TV series and movies. From acting on stage to performing in regional theater at 11 years, she is now working to lead productions for Hollywood Studios.

After recently playing in the lead for coming critically acclaimed Sitcom pilot “The Truth saves the world”, faith follows its passions. Other new works include Lessons in chemistryNBC Peacock’s Spinal stories and Sing 2. She also works with her mother, Shyla Nibbe and her four other siblings, who are all in the entertainment industry.

Discover in our exclusive interview her thoughts and ambitions to act in the entertainment industry and her next project.

When did you first decide to follow a career in entertainment?

I have been performing since I was 4 years old – dance, sung and acted on stage. But the decision to pursue a professional career came when I was 11 years old and started doing regional theater in Southern California. I definitely fell in love with performing on stage. This led to the visibility I needed to make the transition to TV and film work, both on the camera and song on soundtracks.

You have recently played in a sitcom pilot called “Truth saves the world.” How was the experience working with production?

Filming The truth saves the world Be an absolute blast! This is the first time I have played a character as truth and I am so blessed for the opportunity. The story of the truth is based on the authors’ real events, and I think this is so important to convey in children’s TV. The role I got to work with is extremely talented and I am so proud of them all. I can’t wait to see the next step of truth.

Who do you look up to inspire?

I am inspired by so many influencing people in the entertainment industry – Debbie Allen, Zendaya and Cynthia Erivo come to mind. These people made me think of acting differently. Every time one of these actors appear in a movie, they really become the characters they portray and make all the actions clear. They have incredible reach. They really inspire my actor and how I approach a character now.

What are your favorite programs and movies?

I love amazing stories with amazing visual effects and cinematography and of course wonderful music. I’m a big fan of MCU. As a theater child I love musical movies that Evil and The biggest showman. For TV shows I love a good police drama that The beginner.

Can you share with us any of your recent projects?

In addition The truth saves the worldI express a new animated series with True Wonder Entertainment. I have also had the opportunity to sing on a pair of soundtracks for projects that are not yet released.

If you had the chance to work with someone in the entertainment industry (apart from your mother!), Who would it be?

It’s hard to beat my mom! She is absolutely amazing! If I got the chance to work with someone else in the industry, I would love to work with iconic film directors who really shaped the art form and its messages, such as Spike Lee and Steven Spielberg.

If they could make a sequel to any movie you saw recently, what would you like to see?

I would love to see a sequel to Barbie!

Can you share your goals for the future? Where do you see yourself in five years?

I want to continue in entertainment focusing on television and film projects, while I conduct my education in molecular biology. These are really my two passions and I hope to be able to do both for a long time.
