Projected first round of Pick Ben Saraf from Israel announced Friday that he enters the 2025 NBA draft.

“This is the right time for me,” he told ESPN. “After playing against the highest levels of competition in European basketball, I’m ready and excited for the draft.”

6-foot-6-point guard is ranked number 23 in the draft pool of ESPN.

Saraf, 19, is an average of 12.2 points and 4.3 assists in 41 matches this season with Germany’s Ratiopharm Ulm.

“We work really well in Ulm,” he told ESPN. “They are not afraid to give a platform here to young players. They have trusted us and we have paid them back with winnings. We are in second place in BBL and hope to win a trophy this season. The coaches and staff have helped me to improve so much since I came here. It has been a win-win situation for everyone.”

Saraf burst on the NBA line last summer after earning MVP awards at Fiba U18 Eurobasket, an average of 28.1 points, 5.3 assists, 5.0 returns and 4.0 steals for Israel.

NBA Draft Combine takes place in Chicago from May 11-18. The draft will be held in New York June 25-26.
